On December 18, 2011 HoustonUnido and OccupyHouston held a pro – migrant demonstration on the steps of the police department in Bellaire, Texas.

Citizen and immigrant speakers, alike, condemned 287g and S-Communities programs. Speakers called for a greater unity in defeating the abusive power of the trans-national corporations and in building a new type of society.
